Hello!

This is the README.TXT file of the VSDSP side of the VSRVES01 Cat Demo Board.

If you want to make a connection to see what's happening on the Risc-V side
of things, you can run the terminal emulation program: "term -a". That way
you get to see the Linux side. But first learn what function keys do by
typing "term -h". Password for root is vsrv. There is also a user vsrv
with password also vsrv.

To look around VSOS, you might want to: "dir sysr". There you can find many
programs and drivers you can try out. Many programs have a helpful "-h"
option. Some interesting programs to run without any parameters are "Frags",
"Tasks", and "SetClock".

VSRVES01 stands for VLSI Solution's Risc-V Engineerin Samples 01. So, many
things are still in progress. However, also many things work. We can do a
cold boot to Linux in around 5 seconds. How many can do that with 100 MHz of
processor power? And how many can boot Linux while audio is playing
uninterrupted from Ethernet?

And, feel free to participate on VLSI Solution's VSRVES01 forum here:

Have a nice day!
