The new set of VS1053b patches offers faster HE-AAC decoding so that all HE-AAC streams known to VLSI Solution can be decoded with the maximum internal clock rate of 55.3 MHz.

VSIDE 2.43 / VSOS 3.50 Date: 2018-01-24 Age: 7 yrs

VSIDE 2.43 containing templates for VS1005g VSOS 3.50 has been released. VSOS 3.50 and its accompanying system root files provide many new features like ROM-independent executable compatibility.

VS1005 HiRes Recorder Date: 2018-01-19 Age: 7 yrs

A new board, VS1005 Dev. Board Extension 1 v1.0 has been released. This board, which rides on top of the VS1005 Developer Board, contains a 1.77 LCD, a rotary controller, a VS23S040 S-RAM / Video Display Controller, and an I2S ADC.

At the same time VLSI releases a HiRes Recorder application to the board that can record at up to 96 kHz 24-bit PCM WAV files to an SD card.
