VLSI Solution's newest chip, RISC-V / VSDSP6 hybrid prototype VSRVES01 Evaluation CAT Boards are now available to buy in small quantities. For availability of chips, contact VLSI Solution.
VSRVES01 CAT Board is the first evaluation board for VLSI's RISC-V + VSDSP6 hybrid IC VSRVES01. Schematics, Gerber files and a BOM is available for the CAT Board. This is one of the first of multiple incoming releases regarding VSRVES01.
You can now get your own copy of VLSI Solution's new audio codec powerhouse. VS1073 engineering samples are now available to buy.
VLSI Solution has released its newest member of its audio decoder family, VS1073. VS1073 follows a line of over two decades of audio decoder ICs that grew from a simple MP3 decoder IC, VS1001 from 2001, to the newest family member that can decode almost anything. VS1073 can also record in a multitude of formats, including but not limited to MP3, Ogg, FLAC, and WAV PCM formats. As a mixed-signal processor it also has a stereo on-chip ADC and DAC, as well as an earphone amplifier. VS1073 is an ideal companion to lessen the load of a microcontroller that can save its precious CPU cycles to other things, like Ethernet or WiFi.
We will present poster "VSRV1: Simple 32-bit Linux RISC-V Core" at Tristan booth number 19. Additionally we will provide a live application demo by using FPGA.

VLSI has released a VS1010 Audiobook Board schematics. The board is intended to demonstrate how to implement and audio book for e.g. religious texts, or tour or museum guides. The board will be available to buy in Q1/2024. |
