VSIDE has had a fix update to v2.10b2. This fixes a problem of v2.10b that would cause the emulator to crash with many installations for no apparent reason.
VS1063 evaluation boards are now available from VLSI Solution's Web Store. There are currently four different boards available:
VLSI Solution's Integrated Development Environment has been updated. As a new feature, VSIDE v2.10b adds support for VLSI Solution's flagship MP3 encoder / decoder IC VS1063.
A firmware patch package called VS1063a Patches v1.02 has been released. Among other things the package increases MP3 encoding quality and removes other known firmware bugs. It is recommended for all users of VS1063a to download and use this patch package. The package will be updated as soon as new bugs are found and fixed, so don't forget to check for new versions every now and then.
VS1063 Datasheet v0.41 has been published.
VLSI Solution's flagship audio codec VS1063 has had a documentation update. The VS1063a Datasheet, Hardware Guide and Programmer's Guide have each been updated to v0.4.
